campaign plan

We have set a Capital Campaign goal of $3 000 000 based on an assessment completed by Crossroads Consulting.  After that initial consultation, this goal is considered achievable!   The primary method of raising funds will be home visits.  Members of the congregation will be visited by other congregants who are volunteering to serve as Campaign Ambassadors.

Meet The Campaign Ambassadors

During your visit, all the details of the campaign will be explained.   Ambassadors will do their best to answer your questions.   At this time, you will be invited to consider a pledge to the campaign.  These pledges may be gifted over 3 years  (ie annual giving of $5000 in 2021, 2022 and 2023).  You will not be asked to share your intentions with ambassadors.  You will be provided with a pledge card and envelope.  You may give the sealed envelope to the ambassador or bring to the church office.

how to give

When ambassadors visit you, they will have information on all of the different ways that you can contribute including donating publicly traded securities (stocks, mutual funds) and planned giving (wills, life insurance).  Tax receipts for gifts will be issued for the year(s) when the gifts are given not when they are pledged.

Our goal is for all church members to be visited between now and March 2021.

If you’d like to request a meeting, please email your preferred dates and times to the church office and we will arrange to make that happen.

Corporate Sponsorships & Donations

Paris Presbyterian Church is seeking to collaborate with businesses in Paris and the County of Brant to help fulfill our vision.  Did you know that our space is the 2nd largest auditorium with estimated seating capacity of 500 people?  Our space is perfect for arts and cultural events.  We’ve recently renovated to include a single-level platform and upgrades in lighting and sound.  Please consider contributing to our campaign in the form of sponsorship or donation.
